A Plethora of Quality of Life and Other Improvements

Hi guys,

Been a while since I updated the web site with some of then goodies we've been adding as of late.  So without further ado, here we go!
  1. I've added a screenreader flag, that allows those who use screen readers to have MUD output optimized for them. As it stands, it doesn't do a whole lot... I need to get some input from those who use screen readers to know what needs to be changed.
  2. I've added a craftingtimer command that allows you to have a crafting progress timer right on your prompt. It does not work with all MUD clients/terminals, so if things look funny, turn it off (it is off by default). I will say that it doesn't always look the way its intended. Press enter a couple of times and it should look right. If not, consider turning it off.
  3. One of our new players Rourk, suggested today that we have a random chance for an hour of double exp. I waved my magic code wand, and now we have a PVE-HOUR in which all exp, artisan exp and credit gains are doubled. There's even a small chance that they will be tripled.
  4. I've added the ability to obtain account experience through supply orders, bounties and task forces. There is a cap of 500 account experience, per character, every 24 hours. I'd like to see how things work with allowing it to be capped per character as opposed to per account. Hopefully we won't have issues. There's not been a lot of rp as of late, and journals alone can't supplement account experience gains, and I don't want new players to be excluded from prestige classes and advanced races during times like these, where our usual active role players are not playing regularly.
  5. Added consumables as random drops that will recharge your force points, bacta or power cells.
  6. Fixed a bug where offhand weapons would not display in equipment command.
  7. Added a chance for datachips to drop when dismantling an item.
  8. The artisan command output now shows artisan skills you are not trained in as well.
  9. Added the ability to view the breakdown of each individual defense using the defenses command, so you can see what is making up your defense score.
  10. Nar Shaddaa has been finished and it is now added to the game world.
  11. I've added 12 new armor and weapon mods. Previously, the only one was dropsuits, for armor. To use them you'll need the deconstruct, compile and install commands, and it will require skill in use computer and armstech skills to accomplish, as well as a credits cost, and databits (created from datachips).
  12. Added a notice in the room desc when people are in a cantina.
  13. Greatly increased the chance for harvesting nodes with rare material types to load.
  14. You may now use advanced material types when doing supply orders.
  15. Added a hard coded material vendor on czerka.  Only sells basic materials.
  16. Better crafting materials will now award additional artisan experience while creating new items or doing supply orders.
  17. Ewok race can now speak basic, and other languages instead of being limited to ewokese.
  18. Altered defensivestance ability so that the movement restriction only applies while in combat.
  19. Added the 'combine' command which will combine all your resource bundles of the same type together.
  20. Added the numattacks command, and fixed the weapons command to reflect the changes.
  21. Low level random treasure drops should now always have a minimum item bonus of +1 and be useable at level 1.
  22. Added mustafarian race and language.
  23. Added planet mustafar and a level 37-40 zone on the planet.
  24. Added planet myrkr and moved flaming hand pirates zone there.
  25. Added the clone race.
  26. Added lightwhip weapon type.
